# 2. Data Sources

The first step is to define the data source to which you want to connect to build your dashboards.

To create your data source, go to Urungi and select the corresponding menu.

The screen displays the existing data sources, click on the top right button to add a source.

Enter the information to connect to the database.

A button allows you to test the connection before saving.
